Addi Scribner - 1st Year Counselor

Hey everybody!! My name is Addi Scribner and I’ll be graduating from Circle High School in spring. I’ve been coming to camp for many years and have been a JC for the last two!! I’ve also worked in children’s ministry at church for as long as I can remember. When I’m not at work, I’m either dancing, napping, or sketching something!! Can’t wait for this amazing summer!!

Brady Ollenburger - 3rd Year Counselor

Hello, I'm Brady Ollenburger! I'm currently wrapping up my sophomore year at Kansas State University studying electrical engineering. This will be my 3rd year as a counselor! At camp, you’ll probably find me behind a drum set, out on a hike, or on some other camp adventure. I can’t wait for another amazing summer of serving others at my favorite place!

Cadie Klingele - 1st Year Counselor

Hi, I’m Cadie! This will be my first year as a counselor. I’m a freshman at Wichita State University studying filmmaking and creative writing. I work with the YMCA in Wichita to look after kids before and after school. I love to read and jam to music (Josiah Queen is amazing!) Can’t wait to have a great summer!

Dylan Keough - 1st Year Counselor

Hello, I am Dylan Keough and I am finishing up my Freshman year at Wichita State University studying Aerospace Engineering. I really like sports and food. I can't wait have fun and meet everyone this summer.

Lauren Penner - 1st Year Counselor

Hi everyone, I’m Lauren and I am so excited to be back at camp! I love being outdoors and going on spontaneous camping trips. I will be apart of the praise team at camp this summer and I will be singing and playing bass. I am currently working on my associates degree of science, and my end goal is to be a flight nurse-paramedic! See you this summer!

Macy Wiedeman - 1st Year Counselor

Hi! I am Macy Wiedeman and I am finishing up my freshman year at Fort Hays State University. I am majoring in interior design and I love all things arts and crafts. I also love playing tennis, cooking, and baking. I can’t wait to see everyone this summer!

Mason Burr - 1st Year Counselor

Hello! My name is Mason Burr and this is my first year as a Counselor. I was a Junior Counselor previously! Some of the things I love to do is listen to music, be outdoors, and helping others! My favorite part about camp is Thursday Night Worship (and the meals too). I am so excited for camp this year and can't wait for it!

Sarah Bagnati - 2nd Year Counselor

Hi, my name is Sarah Bagnati, and I'm finishing my senior year at Southwestern College. As a returning counselor for my second summer, I’m thrilled to be back and excited for all the adventures ahead! I can’t wait to share my love of the Lord with the kids, help them grow in their faith, and create wonderful memories together, supporting them in building their relationship with God. 

Tyshion Miller - 1st Year Counselor

Hey, I’m Tyshion. I’m a college student studying Computer Science at Kansas State University. I value family, staying positive, and making the most out of every moment. When I’m not buried in coursework, I focus on improving myself and finding ways to stay on top of everything. I’m always up for good conversations, learning something new, or just sharing a laugh.

Lucy Daniel - Spiritual Life Intern

Hello! My name is Lucy Daniel and I am so excited to be back at camp this summer as the Spiritual Life Intern! I am currently a senior at Southwestern College (Go Builders) and will graduate in December with my degree in General Psychology and three religion minors! I can’t wait to help the counselors and junior counselors on their spiritual journey this summer!

Trevor Peterson - Junior Counselor Coordinator Intern

My name is Trevor Peterson and I will be the Junior Counselor Coordinator Intern for this upcoming summer! I will be graduating this May from Southwestern College with my Bachelor’s of Business Administration and will be continuing my education at SC as the Discipleship Graduate Assistant and will be working towards my MBA. I’m from Salina, KS and this will be my second summer at camp on staff! A fun fact about me is that I love disc golf!

Aspen Walker - Kitchen Staff

My name is Aspen Walker, I am currently a Freshman at Emporia State University working on my BFA. I love sewing, and doing arts and crafts. I will be coming back to camp this year as kitchen staff and I’m so excited to start working!

Shaylin Petz - Health Aide

Hi, I am Shaylin Petz. I am finishing my Freshman Year at Fort Hays State University majoring in bio premed. I have been going to church camps for 11 years. I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with people. This summer I will be the Health Aid and will be lifeguarding. I am very excited to be at Camp Horizon this summer. 

Ty Behara - Program Staff

Hi! I'm Ty Behara, and I'm passionate about staying active and embracing the great outdoors. With three years of experience as a lifeguard, I take pride in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of others at the pool. My energetic spirit also shines through my five years as a competitive cheerleader, where I learned the value of teamwork and dedication. When I'm not on duty or cheering, you'll find me riding horses, reading a book, exploring nature, or with my mom. I love to make the most of every moment.
